I have over 20 years’ experience working with teenagers.

From my many years of being in the classroom and interacting with teenagers, I can safely say that adolescence is an exciting, yet fearful time. Their eager, inquisitive minds experience a myriad of emotions. There is a need to become open to trying new and different experiences to discover who they are and what they enjoy most.

One of the emerging needs I’ve seen repeatedly amongst teenagers is a lot of self-doubt and lack of belief in themselves which is often masqueraded in an “I don’t care attitude.” In addition, there is a struggle to find answers to the ultimate life questions:

What do I want to be when I grow up?
What am I interested in?
Where do I want to go to university?
What skills, talents, or knowledge make me stand out from others?

I will provide the space that will enable you to explore areas of your life and work towards improving them and in effect, help you find the keys to flourish.
We will focus on important life skills such as goal setting, limiting beliefs, positive energizing thoughts, resilience, life maps.
Through reflection, mindfully interpret experiences so that you can learn to more critically problem solve.

The Coaching Process – How it works

Most teens are nervous for the first time they join me on a video call or answer my call. They feel unsure of exactly what they’re here for. My first goal is to set their minds at ease and explain that it’s perfectly normal to be nervous and confused as to why they’re talking to me. After explaining the coaching process, many feel curious, and some get a little excited that they are finally going to talk about the things that are going on in their lives.

because along with listening and laughter, I use evidence-based strategies. I have a system that motivates teens from start to solution.
